Amanda Eakin is the Senior Associate at Sputnik ATX VC.
In 2017, heading up marketing, Amanda launched Sputnik ATX with GPs Oksana Malysheva and Joe Merrill.
Now as the Senior Associate at Sputnik ATX, she helps manage the portfolio of 60+ companies, teaches founders how to sell and scale and is part of the investments team.
Prior to Sputnik ATX, Amanda worked on set of nationally distributed commercials, produced podcasts about science and entrepreneurship, and earned her degree in chemistry at The University of Texas at Austin.
Amanda enjoys swing dancing, swimming in Barton Springs, hanging out with her golden doodle Roux. She sits on the board of the Austin Swing Syndicate, which has been supporting one of the largest weekly swing dances in the country since '99.
